Booknotes is my own personal way of reviewing and rating the different books I read. The books may range from pastoral to theological to fiction to pointless. Whatever the topic, I am hoping to share my thoughts on what the author has written and whether it would be a good choice to recommend to others to read.
Remember I am just another person, like you. I have my own opinions and tastes. Therefore, my rating and recommendation should not be the ultimate judge for the worthiness or help you may gain from any book. The best advice is to get a copy for yourself and examine it in light of God’s truth. From there draw your own conclusions. Until then, I hope I can be of some help!
A quick note on the format of the Booknote review: At the beginning of each booknote there will be something such as below,
BN:****
This mean this Booknote book received 4 out of 5 stars. 5 stars will be the best or highest rating and 1 star the lowest. Therefore, books with more stars are ones I feel should be read and those with only 1 or 2 stars should be avoided or read with extreme caution.
